BIRDIE & RIP:Birdie : Rescued/Adopted January 20th 2022Look at those faces! We didn't plan to start the year by rescuing a pile of adorable little smarty pantses but the universe had other plans. When Summit County Animal Control gave us a ring about this special 1/2 aussie litter we shared their faces hoping to encourages some wonderful foster families.
For Birdie it was a match made in heaven. She was fostered with potential to adopt. That lasted about 3 days! Birdie scored an amazing life here in Park City. |
Rip : Rescued January 20th - Passed March 2nd 2022
Sadly Rip has a less happy story. We discovered that he had an issue with his kidneys/bladder that would have dramatically affected his livelihood. We made the heartbreaking decision to enjoy a best last day, celebrating his short but cared for life with lots of love, cuddles & yummy snacks, and say a loving goodbye.
TED:Rescued August 18th - Adopted October 18th 202240th dog to go through Active K9's rescue program and goodness gracious is he a cutie!
Ted wound up at the Summit County Animal Shelter at 8 weeks old. Thankfully we had an opening to take him into our program. He is a sweet clever boy and is learning fast! We believe he is a border collie & australian shepherd mix but that is just a best guess. His ideal home will have another dog to help teach Ted all the great things about being a family member. |
HENRY:Rescued June 3rd - Adopted August 2nd 2022Little did the lovely folks at Summit County Animal shelter know it when they named a gangly sweet puppy, that was found in a crate abandoned on the roadside, Lucky was just how lucky he would be.
The Lovely Folks at Summit County Animal Shelter found this sweet gangly pup abandoned in a crate on the roadside. They swiftly named him Lucky; successfully predicting just how lucky he would be. When Sam went to visit a couple of the energetic pups at the shelter there was absolutely no way Henry wasn't going home with her. He worked his magic by showing off how fast and eager to learn he is. He’s now with his forever home ready for years of paddle boarding adventures! |
