I don't often get many questions about clicker training and that may stem from the fact I don't usually use one in everyday manners teaching but with trick training it is my favorite tool. Clickers pin point the exact moment your dog does what you are looking for. Whether that be touching the target, spinning in a certain direction or bringing the remote control.
Having fun with your dog is the fastest way to teach them something new. If you enjoy it they usually will too. So this class is all about having fun, teaching something silly that will make a good party trick to show off the the relatives when they come to town. We keep it simply and play at the strengths of each dog. Some are natural fetchers and can learn to retrieve just about anything, others will have more fun learning to balance on a ball or turn on the TV.
Clickers are required to start but can be worked out of the equation if need be.

Oh boy. A question with a million answers. Clicker training can be used for the simplest cues such as Sit or the more complex cues such as turning a light switch on/off. Because the reinforcement done by the clicker is so quick & exact the behaviors that can be taught expand exponentially.

Who Can Attend?
Dogs 6 months old & up. Prerequisites: Recommended completion of Basic Manners or Clicker 101. All dogs must pass a K9 Interview before participating. Class Cost: You choose! Check out our Open Enrollment Memberships |
